The Transfer code is an alphanumeric security code that exists for most top-level domains. The transfer code is known only to the domain owner or his administrative contact and must be specified when changing providers. This ensures that a provider change can only be carried out by authorized persons.

How do I get the transfer code for a provider change to ORC Webhosting?
You can obtain the domain transfer code upon request from your current Domain Registrar or provider. The exact procedure depends on the respective registrar or provider. It is often possible to view the Auth Code in the customer area. Usually, however, you have to request the Auth Code and will receive it automatically by e-mail after you have cancelled your domain with your registrar or provider or announced a provider change.
