How do I change the email password in cPanel?
Introduction
Email is an important part of everyday life. It is used for various purposes, from invoices to newsletters and much more. Therefore, it is important to use a strong, secure and complex password for email accounts that contain confidential information or really anything personal!
It is always beneficial to keep the hosting environment on your end secure. For this reason, we always recommend using more complex passwords for your cPanel accounts, email accounts and FTP accounts.

For security reasons, we recommend using a password manager to create and securely store long and complex passwords yourself. Regardless, passwords can be forgotten, stored incorrectly (ever copied a password with an extra space?), or laboriously passed on when needed, which should generally be avoided for liability reasons.

- Report to your cPanel account an. If you have forgotten how to log in to cPanel, we have created documentation for that as well: How can I log in to the cPanel?
After you have logged in, click the Email Accounts icon in the Email section.

3. select the email account for which you want to change the password and click on "ADMINISTRATIVE".

4. use the cPanel Password Generatorto generate a random password with a strong combination.

After you have created the password, scroll to the bottom of the page. There, click the Update Email Settings button.

Congratulations! You have won the Password for your email account successfully changed. Please use the new password the next time you log in with your email account. Also remember to save the new password on your Cell phone or tablet to save.
