How do I reset my cPanel password?

Introduction

First of all, please note that you have the option to register directly via the ORC Web Hosting Customer Center to log in to your hosting account. So, you don't need to remember your cPanel login details, it's enough to remember one set of login details - the Customer Center login details.
So, if you have forgotten your cPanel password or the password provided in the welcome email does not work, you can simply log in to cPanel using your ORC web hosting account.

I can no longer log in to cPanel. What to do?

It can happen that the Single Sign On (SSO) or even with the direct login the password is no longer accepted. You will then receive the error message "The protocol is invalid".

This may be the case, for example, when changing servers or when we have performed a server-wide (all accounts) password reset for security reasons.

Setting a new password is not witchcraft and quite simple. You can reset your password at any time in the customer center. In this article/video we show you how to do it:

2. Click on the appropriate product/hosting.

3. click on RESET PASSWORD then once again on RESET PASSWORD

The password will be reset within 5 minutes and will be visible under LOGIN DEATILS.
