SEO (search engine optimization) is a set of techniques and steps implemented to increase the visibility of your websites on search engine ranking pages. In other words, it's about showing up on Google when your customers are searching for you. This increased visibility then leads to increased targeted traffic and sales growth.
The Website Builder provides you with all the tools you need to make your website rank high on Google and increase organic traffic to your website. Site.pro's simplified interface takes almost every manual task out of the SEO process, giving you more time to create informative content for your website while we take care of the technical part of your SEO process.
However, a high search engine ranking depends on many factors and requires consistent work and effort.
In this article guide, we've put together a step-by-step guide and comprehensive overview of our SEO features and how you can use them to improve your website's position. We look at how you can optimize
1. meta information
Meta information is a crucial part of the search engine optimization process because it affects how your website appears to search engines. They are small pieces of information that tell SERPs (search engine results pages) and people what the content on your website is about. There are different types of meta tags that can affect how your website is indexed at different levels.
With Creative Websitebuilder, you can easily optimize your website's meta information during editing to make sure it reflects the information on your website. Let's take a look at how you can do it below.
Title
This section is crucial to give users insight into the search result, so they know what to expect when they click on the link. It is one of the most important pieces of information you add to your website, so extreme care must be taken.
Once you have the perfect title for one or more pages of your website, go to the Website Builder editor to add them. In the settings at the top right, select the SEO option. On the General tab, select the page you want to add a title to and enter your title in the first field. Click Apply to save the changes and repeat for all the pages you want to edit.

Description
Let's start with the meta information, also called meta description. First, log in to your Creative Websitebuilder account and go to your website. In the "Settings" select "SEO" and go to the "General" tab.
Add the main keyword you are targeting here in the form of a small description. Go with a 1-2 sentence summary of your analysis that is between 155-168 symbols. Include the main keyword in the first part of your meta description. Although this description is not an official ranking factor, it can greatly benefit your website.

Keywords
Next come the keywords. Although Google ignores keywords, some other search engines still use them. Add the keywords you want to target and separate them with commas or semicolons. To do this, go to Settings > SEO and to the General section. In the Keywords field, add the keywords you want to target and separate them with commas. For better results, add only the most relevant keywords and repeat them for all pages of your website.

2. pages
When it comes to optimizing your website's pages, a URL that clearly reflects what the page is about can go a long way in improving the user experience and helping your SEO efforts. So it should not be ignored.
In the Creative Website Builder editor, you have the option to edit and customize the URL of each page on your website to make it more user-friendly. You can do this by going to Settings > SEO > General. Here you can customize the URL of every page except the home page. The default URL comes from the name of the page, so if your page is called "About", for example, the link to it would be www.ihredomain.xyz/ueber.

3. tracking tools
Besides optimizing the meta information on your website, you also need to add certain tracking tools to your website to access and analyze its performance. Let's take a look at how you can do it.
Facebook Pixel
Have you ever visited an e-commerce website only to get a Facebook ad for it 3 minutes later? Facebook Pixel is the technology that powers it, and you can also add it to your Creative Websitebuilder website. You have two options to do this.
For the first option, navigate to "Settings" again, as in the case of meta descriptions. From there, go to "Scripts" and add your Facebook Pixel code to the "Before " section. Apply to save the changes.

The second option goes with the "SEO" option in the settings. From here you need to go to Analytics and add your Facebook Pixel tracking ID.

Google Analytics
Connecting Google Analytics with your Creative Website Builder is similar to Facebook. In the "SEO" section of the settings, go to Analytics again and enter your Google Analytics tracking ID in the top row section.

Yandex Metrika
Similar to adding Google Analytics to your website, you can also add Yandex Metrika. Navigate to the Analytics tab under "Settings" > "SEO" as shown below. From there past your Yandex Metrika tracking ID.

Google Search Console
Another tracking tool that you may need to add to your website is Google Search Console. This can also be done quite easily. You need to copy your verification code from Search Console, go to Settings > SEO, go to the Analytics tab and paste it into the "Search Console Verification Code" field.

4. content
Title and subtitle
Titles and subtitles of your website, also called headers, are one of the most important components of SEO. However, this benefit is indirect: although they do not affect the rankings themselves, using headers will help you, better text content to create. It helps to make the texts on your website more readable, to structure your page more understandable and to make it more comfortable for the user. It also helps to reduce the bounce rate: If people can't find what they're looking for, they'll leave the site quickly. Headings make it easier to search. And a website that is better for users is better for SEO.
In our website editor we have simplified the process of adding headings to your website: all you have to do is select the text and click on the heading type you want to choose.

As you can see, the headings have gradually decreasing sizes, from heading 1 (H1) to H6. Behind the text editor, these headings are converted into neat HTML tags. This HTML code distinguishes between text levels and sets the hierarchy of your page's content.
While you structure your text, the technical side of the Site.pro editor is as simple as it gets: you have to select your text and choose the heading or the text type from the list of available options. However, you need to focus on the content of your page to achieve a higher rank. Each headline has a different purpose, and there are rules and best practices you need to follow. Here are some of them:
- Each page can have only one H1, which is the title of your page.
- H2 and H3 tags are great for introducing new sections and subsections.
- Key phrases should be included in the headline.
Image alternatives and object names
Images and objects on your website serve to structure the page and make it more user-friendly. However, this is not their only function: they can also have an impact on your website's SEO. They give search engines important contextual information about your site, while properly optimized images (small file size paired with the right file type) and accurately named objects can improve your page speed. Let's take a look at how you can do this with just a few clicks in Creative Website Builder.
Image Alternates (Image Alt_Tags)
Let's start with the images. The file characteristics of your visuals are of great importance here, but the image optimization process isn't just about that. Proper tagging of your visual elements is also crucial so that crawlers can read and understand them. This is mainly done via alt tags.
To properly optimize your images, start by renaming your files. For example, instead of "Untitled 1," choose "One-Girl-by-a-Tree." Name your files as specifically as possible, including descriptive keywords in the title. You can even use some keywords and separate them with a hyphen.
After adding your visuals to your website, the next step is to add alt tags. This is important because search engine crawlers can't "see" and index images, so they need some tips. A good alt tag adds context to your image and makes it indexable so it shows up in search.
In the Creative Websitebuilder editor, go to the image to which you want to add an alt tag and select it. In the Alternate Text field on the right, add the alt text you prepared and separate the words with hyphens.

Your changes will be saved automatically. You can then go ahead and add an alt tag to any image on your website to help it rank.
Object names
Naming your website's objects helps search engines understand the purpose of interactive/static elements on your website, similar to alt tags for images. By naming the object, you make it easier for the crawler to navigate your website and this makes your website more indexable, which directly affects the ranking.
To name an object in the Creative Website Builder editor, select it by clicking on it. Once you've selected the object you want to rename, the Editor Settings appear on the right, where you can edit various aspects of your element. To name it, select Advanced and enter the name of your element in the Anchor Name field.

Links
Linking is one of the pillars of search engine optimization: whether it's an internal link on your website or a link to another website, if you do it right, it has a profound impact on SERP results.
In our editor you can edit and manage your links in no time. Simply select the text you want to add a link to. Click the link icon in the editing toolset. Then, in the Link Properties setup, you can manage your link: Decide where it redirects to, whether it opens in the same window or in a new window, whether it's a "nofollow" or a "dofollow" link, and more.

Optimization for multiple languages
There are many ways to drive more traffic to your website. Having multiple languages is one method that is not discussed enough. The reason may be the extra work, but you will be surprised how easy it can be on Site.pro! And how much extra traffic it can bring to your website.
If you are considering adding a version of your website in another language or optimizing it, we have great news: The process is simple, straightforward, and very similar to what we've already looked at. Let's take a look at how you can do it.
If you haven't added additional languages to your website yet, you can do so using the Languages widget in the top menu. Go there and choose the widget design you like best.

Select the languages you want for your website from the dropdown menu. For the widget of our choice we can add 3 languages. The version marked with a star is the main version of your website.

Once you've added your languages, it's time to start optimizing your website. If you've already worked on the main version of your website, the process is simple: most features, like Facebook Pixel or robots.txt, require only a one-time setup for all language versions.
First select a language from the list. Let's continue here with German.
The next step is to edit your texts and add headings to them. You will need to set the headings for each version individually, as the changes in English, for example, will not apply to German. As in the first case, simply select the text and click the text type.

Next comes the alt tags. Select the image and in the same text box on the right side select the language and simply enter your alternative text for each version.

The next step is the descriptions of your website. In the Settings > Preferences menu, you can access and edit general information and descriptions of your website in different languages. Make sure you change the information for each page of your website, the list of which is available on the left side.

After you have processed all this, your website will be optimized for another language and will be ready to rock the Internet. Congratulations!
5. robots.txt
Robots.txt is a custom script that lets you decide which pages of your website should be crawled and indexed by Google. You can think of this script as an instruction that you give to the crawler so that it knows which way to go through your website.
On Creative Websitebuilder, you can enable your robots.txt file with just a few clicks. Simply go to Settings > Setting and select the tab right next to "Scripts". Paste the script your webmaster has prepared here, activate it and click Apply. It will take effect immediately.

6. htaccess
The .htaccess file (short for "hypertext access") is a distributed server configuration file that allows you to set server configurations for a specific directory. It is then executed by the Apache web server when a request is made from that directory.
On Creative Websitebuilder it can be accessed in Settings >, in the same place as Meta Information. Here you need to paste the script your developer prepared and check the "Enable .htaccess" checkbox.

The .htaccess is one of the most powerful tools in your SEO toolbox. This can have a huge impact on your website ranking, as a well-written .htaccess file can make your website more crawlable and indexable.
However, since .htaccess is a server configuration file, it should be used with extreme caution: Even the smallest type can harm your website. Use it only when it is absolutely necessary.
7. sitemap
Your sitemap is the list of all pages, videos, and other files available on your website. The purpose of a sitemap is to make your website more crawlable for search engines and ultimately improve the indexing of your website. Your sitemap also tells visitors which pages of your website are important and which sections they should pay attention to.
As soon as you create a website on Site.pro or import your existing website, a sitemap is created for you. To access it, go to SEO in the Settings drop-down menu. There you will see your sitemap link in the last field of the Analytics section. Note that unlike your page URLs, your sitemap link cannot be edited. You can submit it as a sitemap URL to Google Webmaster Tools.

8. HTML
When it comes to HTML for SEO, meta tags are often the very first thing people learn about. And there's a reason for that: they are the elements that allow search engines to properly "read" and analyze your content.
To add HTML tags to your Creative Website Builder website, go to the Website Builder and then select "Settings" at the top right. From there, select "Settings" again, as shown below.

Navigate to "Metainformation" in the settings. This is the HTML metadata that should be added to the head of your website. Simply add and apply your meta information here.

Apart from the meta tags, HTML plays a more general role in SEO: the quality of the HTML code determines the speed and the Website performance, which is a crucial ranking factor.
The changes you make in Creative Website Builder editor will be converted into optimized HTML code that will ensure the high performance of your website.
9. SSL certificates
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a standard security protocol used to ensure the security of websites. SSL provides secure communication channels between two devices on the Internet. The presence of the SSL protocol affects your website's ranking, since Google aims to protect its users.
ORC Web Hosting provides SSL certificates to all of its clients. It will be added to the websites automatically without you having to take any additional steps, ensuring that this step of your SEO process will be taken care of without your intervention.
10. domain
The Domain of your website can also significantly impact your SEO efforts. So when you launch your website, it's important to consider domain names that are brand-centric, but also SEO-friendly. Your domain name is the name of your website. They are generally used to identify IP addresses.
11. speed
The last in our list of ranking factors to consider is website speed. The logic behind it is relatively simple: the faster your website is, the more convenient it is for users.
With Creative Website Builder you don't need to take any additional steps to improve website speed, as our website editor has two main advantages:
Websitescreated and published with our editor have a neatly optimized HTML code. The more compact the HTML code is, the faster the loading time is.
All websites have a backend and a frontend. The backend of the website is processed by the web server and an HTML code is returned to the browser. The more this HTML code was originally published (without the web server having to process it), the shorter the website load time because the browser had access to the code earlier.
Conclusion - SEO Friendly Website
SEO should not be difficult: Once you have the content prepared, you can optimize your website in a matter of minutes with the right tools. At ORC Web Hosting, we work to provide our customers with all the tools they need to make sure their website ranks high in the search engines without having to hire an SEO department. We hope this guide has been helpful as you get your website to make a splash online. Good luck!
